Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
marry.lk offers a Premium subscription that unlocks additional features for your matrimonial experience. Refund and cancellation rights depend on the platform through which you subscribed — web, iOS (App Store), or Android (Google Play). Please read the relevant section below.
2. Free Trial
Free trial is available on mobile app purchases only
The 7-day free trial applies exclusively to subscriptions purchased through the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Web purchases and bank transfers do not include a free trial and are charged immediately.
A 7-day free trial is available on your first Premium subscription via the mobile app. You will not be charged during the trial period.
- Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be billed.
- If you do not cancel, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan at the end of the trial.
- Trial eligibility is limited to one per account.
- The free trial is not available for bank transfer or direct web purchases.
3. Bank Transfer Subscriptions
Manual payment — no free trial
Bank transfer subscriptions are activated manually by our team after payment confirmation. No free trial is available. Charges are applied immediately upon transfer.
3.1 Cancellation
Bank transfer subscriptions cannot be cancelled mid-term. You retain Premium access for the full duration of the plan you purchased. Auto-renewal does not apply and you must manually initiate a new payment to continue after expiry.
3.2 Refunds
Bank transfer payments are non-refundable once the Premium package has been activated. Please confirm your plan selection carefully before transferring.
- No refund is available once Premium has been activated.
- If the payment is received but activation fails due to a technical error on our side, we will either activate your account or issue a full refund within 5 business days.
- Incorrect transfers (wrong amount, wrong reference) — contact us promptly and we will work to resolve it.

4. iOS Subscriptions (Apple App Store)
Billing handled by Apple
Subscriptions purchased through the iOS app are billed entirely by Apple. marry.lk does not have access to your payment details or the ability to process refunds for App Store purchases.
4.1 Cancellation
To cancel, open iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions and select marry.lk. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.
4.2 Refunds
Refund requests for App Store purchases must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's standard refund policy applies. marry.lk has no authority to approve or process refunds for App Store transactions.
5. Android Subscriptions (Google Play)
Billing handled by Google
Subscriptions purchased through the Android app are billed entirely by Google. marry.lk does not have access to your payment details or the ability to process refunds for Play Store purchases.
5.1 Cancellation
To cancel, open the Google Play Store → Subscriptions and select marry.lk. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.
5.2 Refunds
Google automatically refunds Play Store subscriptions cancelled within 3 days of the initial purchase. For other refund requests, visit Google Play Help. marry.lk has no authority to approve or process refunds for Play Store transactions.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds regardless of platform:
- Subscription periods already used.
- Featured profile boost packages once activated.
- Accounts suspended due to a violation of our Terms & Conditions.
